MeMoRY GaMe

1. Add a comment on my blog. Leave one memory that you have had with either Dan or Lora, It doesn't matter if you knew us a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about us, we'll assume you're playing the game and we'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Hmmmmmmmm where do I start.... I have so many memories... ummmm how about the time that we were getting ready for a family party... I think it was a Famous Bart Mother's Day party that always ended up with me and the kids getting everything ready and Bart showing up at party time... haha well anyway... I had just washed the kitchen rugs and hung them out to dry on the back porch.. and you know how the little fringes on the rugs fray a bit and you end up with some long ones? well... I had a few long fringes on my rugs.. so I asked Lora to cut them off... She came up stairs a little while later and said she had done her job.. I thanked her and continued to clean my room... Well just before our guests were to arrive, I walked down in the kitchen to make sure all was just right... and there were my rugs.. but something was missing... Lora had trimmed off all the fringes off my rugs... (not just the long frayed ones..) I sat down and laughed so hard... She was standing there like.. MOM what's so funny... I think we still laugh at that one...

Oh yes... and the time I came home from painting class to find My darling daughter with a large bandage on her head... She was about 4 years old.. I had a class to teach and Bart was working on the house... Brian and Debbie had stopped by while I was gone.. and somehow Lora had gotten a hold of the power drill and drilled the hair right out of her little scalp... OUCH...!!! I am sure that is why she still to this day cannot grow her bangs out... hehe

There are so many more funny things I could tell you about my darling BLONDE daughter... But the best memory of her happens to me each and everytime I talk to her on the phone.. (which is usually everyday ).. she makes me smile.. she makes me laugh and she makes me aware of who I am.. and why I was put here.. (maybe not here in Pueblo..haha) but here as her mother... She truly is an inspiration to me.. Makes me want to be a better me... I love you sweet girl... and I am so glad that you found Daniel... He is a wonderful and great man.. we love you both.. MOM and DAD

Hey Lora: I can not figure out how to post my comment on your blog. This is my next alternative email it to you and you can post it if you want to. I wanted to leave a memory comment since I have a ton of those HAHA don't worry I didn't say anything bad...... Yet! Just kidding this is what I wanted to write, look it over and post it under my name if you want to. I can't figure out how to do this but it is 11 at night and I am maybe not thinking clear? Let me know if you post it.

I remember the first day I met Lora. Matt brought me over to meet his family and hang out. Lora instantly gave me a hug and invited me to come and play Baseball with them at the Layton Park with the rest of the Peterson's. I had only been in the house for like 3 minutes. I am not a big fan of playing baseball, but I went to watch anyway. We became immediate firends and it was like we had know each other forever.
I remember always being at the Peterson houe in Clinton, It was a place I always felt welcome! Thank you Lora for this (oh yeah and your mom and dad too) I was there so much I felt like your sister already although Matt and I were not married yet. You went to your first High School dance (who knows who the guys was since you hadn't met your fabulous husband Dan yet) I remember taking pictures with the Camera after doing your hair for hours. I also remember all the tears I cried that night when he came to pick you up! I don't know why I was crying but I was and so was your mother!
Thank you for always loving me and accepting me into your family. I know it must have been hard to let another girl into your family, you were used to being the only daughter and the only sister. You alwasy included me and you always do whatever you can to help me and I appreciate that more than I can ever say. I love you and your family and could not have asked for a better one! Thank you again for being MY SISTER!
With love
Kelly
