Birthday Weekend...

Dan's best friend Mat and his wife Casey came out to visit for Dan's birthday weekend.... We had so much fun with them visiting. On Saturday morning we went to the Dinosaur Museum, it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be!

Then later when the weather kind of cooperated we decided to go fishing... Then it started to rain again!

Relay For Life

Relay For Life

Dear Friends & Family,

It's time for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, Relay is the American Cancer Society's nationwide signature event. This year our team is planning to raise $5,000. Throughout the day and night, my teammates and I will take turns walking around the track. After all, cancer never sleeps and neither will we. Will you help in the fight against cancer by making a contribution to the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life?

The event takes place on Friday June 12,2009 at the Payson Utah park starting at 5:30 pm and will end on Saturday June 13,2009 at 5:30pm. I will be walking in honor of my Mother-in-Law, who is a cancer survivor. I believe that it is because of the reasearch funded by the American Cancer Society and the Grace of God that she will be joining us in the Survivors' Victory Lap at Relay. Jackie and I appreciate your support. Please try and send your donations to me prior to the event. There is no finish line until we find a cure.

Nothing like a spa night & a little American Idol

These girls have SOOO much energy! I don't remember being this crazy!

I was in charge of painting the nails... This girl is one of my fav's she is the only one who will participate in my lessons on Sunday's...

All 5 of my girls, the one in the glasses was SUPER shy, she barely got in the picture without crying!

I have loved being with the young women, and my girls are sooo great!

It's been a while....

So it has been a while since I have posted. I thought I would show you pics of our new apartment... I don't really have very many but you can kind of get the idea.

Note: I havn't finished unpacking and have NO decorations up yet.

This is my new living room... I havn't decided if the carpet is purple or brown...

Maybe it's a Brownish-Purple :)

This apartment has 3 bedrooms, and they all have their own bathroom. I don't know what we will EVER do with 3 bathrooms, unless people start coming to visit us!!! (HINT-HINT)

Dan and I are loving Roosevelt!!! I didn't know whether or not this move would be all that great for us, little did I know that we would absolutely LOVE IT!

I am now working for an AWESOME dental office as their office manager.

Daniel is still working for Wheeler, and has really adjusted rather quickly to the small town life and has loved getting to know all the farmers around the area...

I was called to be the 2nd counselor in the YoungWomens, and Dan was called to be the Varsity coach for the YoungMen! He can't wait to take the boys to do all sort of fun things...

The one thing I have learned is that the Uintah Basin is one giant playground in the summer time...We are welcoming any visitors, like I was saying we have plenty of room for visitors and you wouldn't even have to share a bathroom....
